Engagement photos are all about getting to know your photographer and having a bit of fun. It’s a chance to chat about ideas for your wedding day and see how you work together.
Make sure to talk about locations, the pros and cons of first look versus traditional bridal party photos, and anything that makes your story special.
A great wedding photographer has loads of experience and you can benefit from all that knowledge just by asking them! So take the opportunity to pick your photographer’s brain about anything you’re unsure about. Ask what you could do to make your photos extra special, discuss great ideas they’d like to try out and bring up something you may have seen on Pinterest such as smoke bombs, sparklers or something totally original! If you need a makeup and hair person you can be sure your photographer has worked alongside many and can give you some great recommendations.
Above all, by the end of your session you should feel relaxed and confident and absolutely certain that your photographer is the perfect fit for you both!
Book your engagement session with me before 30th Sept 2019 for the special price of $399. If you also book your wedding with me, your engagement session fee will be credited against your chosen wedding package.
These photos are of Katie and Denby. I met Katie several years ago; she is a much loved teacher at the pre-school both my children attended. Even after my kids left, we have still kept in touch and it’s fantastic to see her so happy with her beau, Denby, who it’s a joy to get to know.
