So off the back of my last post I’ve been thinking… I love my job and love creating images for my couples that are personal to them and “feel” like them and where all their friends and family can remember and feel the day as it was. I strive to do this with every wedding I am a part of BUT I can always get better!

This Bride who I also count as a friend is the most incredible lady and I was so happy to be asked to be her photographer. She runs therapy riding sessions for children with disabilities. My son has Autism and has been going to her for around 6 months now. The bond she fosters between horse and child blows me away every time I’m there.
She is a very special lady and she deserved the best wedding photos I could create for her. This is one of my favs from her day

I think these two photogs are sooo cute and so amazingly talented and I always learn something from their incredible experience ... hope they don’t mind me including them in my photo post! .... @amber_dahli @zahntrotter ...............This past weekend I attended a workshop that was the best one I’ve ever been a part of. It was a fabulous weekend and I met so many other amazing photographers! I feel totally blessed to have been involved and so grateful for the community of wedding photographers I am a part of. Thanks so much it was such a great weekend!!! And here’s a few snaps from the styled shoots... so many amazing photographers there! I learnt so much and came away feeling re energised and so happy 😀

I often get asked when is the best time of year to have a family photo session. I always say you’ll never get this time again - your kids will grow, change, lose teeth and what they love today, they may intensely dislike tomorrow! Embrace it all, they are only young once and the best time to capture you all is right now!
