Parisha & Rob’s Civil Ceremony & Hindu Wedding, Okahu Bay, Auckland
To ensure both families were honoured, Rob & Parisha had an outdoor civil ceremony as well as a Hindu wedding inside.
Parisha and Rob were married on a wild and windy Saturday at Okahu Bay in Orakei. This vibrant wedding was one to remember, with many guests wearing Indian saris and bright, beautiful colours.
The couple wanted more time to spend with their guests so opted to have “first look” photos before their ceremony. Even though the wind was wild up on Bastion Point, we captured some really special memories and had some laughs!
This wasn’t a typical wedding day at all, with two ceremonies held to honour both families. The outdoor civil ceremony under the trees at Okahu Bay was followed by an indoor Hindu ceremony at the same location. I felt so privileged to be involved and loved every minute!
This wedding was arranged entirely through email and messenger as the couple live in the UK. I can customise your day and make it work for you, whatever you need.
