Auckland Wedding Photographer in Riverhead Forrest

Outdoor Wedding, Murray Jones Reserve, Riverhead

Caitlin and Stacey met through their joint passion for helping people, both training with St Johns ambulance.

I’ve known Caitlin since I was 15 years old and she’s also very special to my family. Caitlin worked as a carer for my son for several years before moving on to pursue training as a paramedic.

Planning a wedding during a pandemic isn’t easy. Caitlin and Stacey wanted so much to be committed to each other that they decided they would wed on their chosen date, even if it meant they couldn’t have a reception due to Level 3 lockdown protocol.

They got married on a sunny day in November 2021, on a hill in a pretty little park surrounded by 20 of their closest friends and family. It was an intimate and emotional ceremony, featuring many hand-made details created by close friends and family. They opted for bridal portraits in Riverhead Forest, where I took them to some of my favourite spots. They are lucky enough to have classic car collectors in the family, including the gorgeous pale blue car featured!

This couple proves that you can have a beautiful wedding whatever obstacles are thrown your way! It heartens me to witness a wedding like this which is truly about the bride and groom and their love for each other.

Let’s chat about your wedding over a coffee or a glass of wine - give me a call or send me an email, I'd love to talk to you.
