The Donaldson Family – Takapuna Beach, North Shore
During lockdown, in conjunction with Harcourts Cooper and Co North Shore, I ran a competition for the best family selfie. The Donaldson family were the lucky winners, and their prize was a family photography session with me!
Tarryn is a North Shore mum of three boys, and a popular and relatable blogger and Instagram and Facebook content creator. This gorgeous family met me at Takapuna Beach one wintery, sunny Saturday afternoon to get messy in the sand and water, and create some family photo goodness!
With three boys to wrangle, Tarryn certainly has her work cut out for her. This shoot was fun and energetic, with the littlest guy obsessed with getting himself and his gorgeous little outfit submerged as soon as possible! I love how these images reflect the Donaldson family’s strong and loving connection with each other.

He’s growing up way too quickly and always off doing something, somewhere with someone else so these moments are everything! ”
